We just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to you all for catering for us on our wedding day at the Tythe Barn. The food was outstanding, and everyone has commented on how fantastic it was! The staff were brilliant, quick, efficient and very polite. Tracey was fantastic, she and Anita were the perfect organizers on the day, they made us feel very relaxed and took all the pressure off us, we just turned up, ate, drank and had a great time! I wanted to write to say how pleased we were with the whole evening and to thank you and your crowd for their hard work - especially during the rain!! I have had so many compliments about both the food and the service from "your lot" - so a huge thank you. The feedback was that the starter on boards made everyone talk to each other and not just to their immediate neighbours whilst the veal was a masterstroke and a real achievement to serve so many people a meal that was actually hot!! But most praise was left for the puddings which were generally felt to be the most yummy ever!! The cocktails went down very well and were a great addition. So all in all a job well done thank you. If we ever party again, you will be the first call.

I felt that I had to write to you today following the wedding of Chloe and Kris. The whole day was superb, venue, weather, Chloes wonderful organisation, but hte most impressive part was the amazing food and service given to us on the day. I cannot tell how impressed everyone was and lost count of the number of people who came up to me during the day to ask who you were and if you were attached to Poundon House. Rebecca could not have been more helpful and pleasant if she tried and nothing was too much trouble for her. I was able to watch and can only admire the service that was given to all our guests and the military precision in which it was carried out by all of your staff..........many guests were still talking about the fun hors de ouvre and what a brilliant ice breaker it was. Various people were bragging that they had managed to eat 2 of the heart desserts (given over by people too full to eat theirs)......many many lovely comments about the main courses too. Thank you for helping make that day one of the best days of mine and Robins life.

I came to my cousin's wedding last weekend and had a great night (minus the rain) so thank you for that. However I can't get the squid d'ooeuvres out of my mind as they were that good, I faal I need tham in my life right now! Or at least the recipe. I think they were cracked black pepper and sea salt battered with sweet chilli sauce. I've gone out and bought some squid and have tried to recreate them so far without success. I know this sounds melodramatic if not absurd (I'm sure it is!), but I love cooking and eat to live, not the other way round. Would it be possible to get a copy of the recipe, or is it a cloaely guarded trade secret?

...how well Monday went. The 2 ladies were fabulous and the food was a great success. We received such great feedback from all of the guys at the supper and I was delighted with the way it went. we will have 3 of these Senior Board events per year. I have been asked specifically to ask you to cater.
